NUITEQ EDUCATION COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) describes cookies and how NUITEQ uses cookies on its Educational Sites and Services (“Sites”) such as but not limited to NUITEQ Chorus, Chorus.nuiteq.com, and NUITEQ Poll at Ansr.it.

This policy details how Natural User Interface Technologies AB (NUITEQ®), Laboratorgränd 11, 93177, Skellefteå - Sweden with Swedish Corporate Identity Number: 556731-1344 (“NUITEQ”) uses cookies and cookie-like files and technologies on Educational Sites and Services, e.g. Local Shared Objects, also known as “Flash cookies”, web beacons etc. We refer to these generically as “cookies”. As further described below, NUITEQ uses cookies to improve the usability of our Sites as well as make our services more relevant to our users. The use of cookies is only allowed with the consent of the users. Such consent can be collected in different ways but needs to be freely given, specified and informed for each case of processing.

All users shall be free to choose whether or not they want to accept or deny the use of cookies. In your browser security settings, you can adjust what cookies you want to accept, block, or delete. What are cookies and how do they work?

Performance and Analytics Cookies

NUITEQ’s Education Sites do not store any performance and analytics cookies on user devices.

In addition to cookie management, browsers usually let you control files similar to cookies, for example, Local Shared Objects, e.g. by enabling the browser’s privacy mode.

Disabling cookies may prevent you from using certain parts of NUITEQ’s Education Sites. If you delete your cookies from the browser, you may be reminded to re-install cookies.

Collection of Information from children

When a child accesses and interacts with NUITEQ Sites, we may collect certain information automatically about those visits. This information will be analyzed for performance and service improvements. The information we collect includes a session identifier, web browser type, Site settings, the frequency with which the child visits or uses parts of our Sites. We do not collect registration information or Personally Identifiable Information from children on NUITEQ’s Education Sites without parent or guardian consent. 

How long do we keep the information?

It depends on the type of cookies. Session cookies expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies, including Local Shared Objects (“Flash cookies”), have typical expiration dates ranging from two months up to 2 years.

In addition to collecting data on the web domains, NUITEQ collects other types of information as described in NUITEQ’s Privacy Portal.

NUITEQ may from time to time change this Policy. However, if this Policy is changed in a material, adverse way, NUITEQ will post a notice advising of such change at the beginning of this Policy and on this Site's home page. We recommend that you revisit this Policy from time to time to learn of any such changes to this Policy.
