In the above video, NUITEQ's Learning Experience Designer, Lynn Marentette, provides an overview of the Habitat app in Snowflake MultiTeach.
The Habitat app was designed for young children who are learning about animals and habitats. Students drag pictures of various animals to the correct habitats, as presented on the display.
The Habitat app works well as a stand-alone app on a front-of-class display, with students called up to the display in an instructional setting. It also works well with related lessons from the MultiTeach Lessons Community using the Zones feature, with the screen divided into 2 to 4 sections. Each app or lesson in a zone can be easily transformed to full-screen mode during learning sessions. The Spotlight feature in MultiTeach, which can be accessed via the corner menu, can be used with the display to focus on details as needed.
The display can be set up in tabletop mode for use by students as a learning station, or for other forms of group work.
