NUITEQ is excited to announce, that at yesterdays gala award dinner, it received the MerIT award.
The MerIT award program is organized by Dataföreningen i Sverige (Skellefteå department) and Dataföreningen i Norr (DiN), an organization which promotes IT companies from the North of Sweden in order to assist making the region a world leader within the IT industry.
The criteria for the MerIT award are; development through collaboration, adding value to the region, growth potential and innovative thinking.
The prize is given to the company, project or achievement that was the most important for the line of business or the region.
Previous year winners include Data Ductus, Protegrity R&D, Ericsson, EBI Systems, North Kingdom, Moxiecode, Optronic, ICD and Sirius IT.
"It is such a great honor to receive such an exciting award. The other nominated companies for this award are extraordinary, so being picked as the winner amongst those, is wonderful. ", says NUITEQ's CEO Harry van der Veen, "The winners of this award in previous years, have added tremendous value to this region and we're very excited that NUITEQ is now associated with those amazing companies."
Leif Häggmark, Chairman of DiN and jury member adds "We were very happy to announce NUITEQ as the winner of the MerIT award. Regarding at least three of the criterias; development through collaboration, growth potential and innovative thinking we felt that they were number one in our region this year!"
